Corporation Tax software for UK companies.

Simple Returns is Corporation Tax filing software built for one job: the annual CT600 and FRS 105 accounts a UK micro-entity files. It does the accountancy, you check the figures, and it files to HMRC and Companies House for a flat £99.

What the software does.

1

It does the accountancy

Upload a bank statement and the software sorts every transaction into the 17 FRS 105 line items, builds your accounts, and calculates the Corporation Tax. No spreadsheets, no chart of accounts to set up.

2

Built only for micro-entities

Not a general ledger package bent into shape for general small-business bookkeeping. It does one job: the annual Corporation Tax return and FRS 105 accounts a UK micro-entity director files once a year.

3

Files to HMRC and Companies House

Submits your CT600 to HMRC and your iXBRL accounts to Companies House in a single step, and returns a confirmation reference from each. One flat fee of £99, paid only when you file.

Corporation Tax software questions.

What is Corporation Tax software?

It is software that prepares and files a limited company's Corporation Tax return (the CT600) and statutory accounts. Simple Returns is built for UK micro-entities: it categorises your transactions, prepares FRS 105 accounts, calculates the tax, and files to HMRC and Companies House.

Do I need accounting knowledge to use it?

No. The software does the categorisation and the tax calculation. Everything is shown in plain English, box by box, and you check the figures before anything is submitted. There is no accounting jargon to learn.

Who is it for?

UK limited companies that qualify as micro-entities: broadly, meeting at least two of a turnover of £1 million or less, a balance sheet total of £500,000 or less, and 10 or fewer employees. Contractors, single-director companies and dormant companies are all common.

How much does the software cost?

A flat £99 per filing, paid only when you file. There is no subscription and no per-user pricing. Starting a return, checking figures and changing your mind are all free.

Does it file the accounts to Companies House too?

Yes. Your CT600 goes to HMRC and your iXBRL micro-entity accounts go to Companies House in the same step, so you do not have to file the two separately.
