How it works.

Four steps. About thirty minutes for a typical micro-entity. You stay in the driver's seat the whole way. Nothing is transmitted until you've checked the figures.

Watch the demo.

  1. 1

    Enter your company number

We fetch your registered name, SIC code, and accounting period directly from Companies House.

  2. 2

    Upload your bank statement

CSV, PDF or photo. We categorise every transaction into the FRS 105 buckets (the official micro-company categories) and flag anything that needs your attention.

  3. 3

    Review in plain English

Check every categorisation and adjust anything that looks wrong. Every figure is shown in plain English, not accounting jargon.

  4. 4

    File in one click

We submit your CT600 (the company tax return) to HMRC and your iXBRL accounts (the official digital accounts) to Companies House simultaneously. You receive a confirmation number from each.

Before you start.

How long does it take?

About thirty minutes for a typical micro-entity with a straightforward year. Most of that is you checking the figures we have worked out, not entering data by hand.

When is anything actually sent to HMRC?

Only at the very end, after you have reviewed every figure and pressed file. Nothing is transmitted to HMRC or Companies House while you are still working through the return.

Do I need an accountant as well?

No. The software does the categorisation and the tax calculation, and shows you everything in plain English to check. You file directly as the director.
