Is my company small enough to be a micro-entity?

Micro-entities file the shortest kind of accounts. There are three size limits, and a company is too big only when it goes over two or more of them. Being over one on its own changes nothing. Fill these in and we will show you where you sit.

When did the year you are asking about start?And when was that year end?We ask for both because the limits are scaled down for a short year and up for a long one. The limits also changed for years starting on or after 6 April 2025.How much money came in during that year?Everything the company charged for its work or sold, before any costs are taken off.Roughly what was everything the company owned worth at that year end?Money in the bank, equipment, stock, and money customers still owed it, added up before taking off anything the company owed to anyone else. So a van worth £8,000 with £6,000 still owing on it counts as £8,000 here, not £2,000.How many people did the company employ, on average?Include the directors if they are paid through the company.
