File your CT600 online.

The CT600 is your company tax return. Simple Returns builds it from your bank statement, works out the Corporation Tax, and files it to HMRC and Companies House together, for a flat £99. You check every figure first.

From bank statement to filed return.

1

Link your company

Enter your company number. We pull your registered name, SIC code and accounting period straight from Companies House, so the return starts pre-filled and correct.

2

Upload a bank statement

CSV, PDF or a photo. Every transaction is sorted into the 17 FRS 105 line items automatically. You only answer the handful of questions we genuinely cannot work out for you.

3

Check the figures

Your turnover, expenses and Corporation Tax are laid out in plain English, box by box. Change anything that looks wrong before a single figure leaves your screen.

4

File to HMRC

We submit your CT600 to HMRC and your iXBRL accounts to Companies House in the same step. You get a confirmation reference back from each.

CT600 filing questions.

What is a CT600?

The CT600 is the Company Tax Return that every UK limited company sends to HMRC each year. It reports your profit and works out the Corporation Tax you owe. It is filed alongside a set of statutory accounts, which also go to Companies House.

Can I file my CT600 online myself, without an accountant?

Yes. If your company is a micro-entity, you can prepare and file your own CT600 and FRS 105 accounts. Simple Returns does the categorisation and the tax calculation for you and shows you every figure to check before it is submitted.

What do I need before I start?

Your company number, your HMRC online account and Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR), your Companies House authentication code, and a bank statement covering your accounting period. Corporation Tax must be active on your HMRC account.

How much does it cost to file a CT600 online?

A flat £99 per filing, paid only when you file. There is no subscription and no charge for starting a return, checking your figures, or changing your mind.

Does it file the accounts as well, or just the tax return?

Both. In one step we send your CT600 to HMRC and your iXBRL micro-entity accounts to Companies House, so you do not have to file the two returns separately.
